The Organizing Committee of “Macau 2010″ the 7th IDBF Club Crew World Championships (Macau 2010 CCWC) in conjunction with the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) cordially invite Club Crews from around the world to participate in the Championships, which will be held from Wednesday 28 July to Sunday 1 August, 2010, at the Nam Van Lake Nautical Center, Macao S.A.R. China

The 4th Boracay International Dragon Boat Festival will be held on April 22 – 24, 2010 and will be bigger and even better than the previous years – a fun-filled event incorporating the dragon boat spirit of sportsmanship and great international camaraderie. The Festival is supported by the Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Municipality of Malay and officiated by the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation (PDBF).
Registration fee: P1500/person

There are various race categories to participate in. Festival program includes welcome cocktails and opening ceremony with the parade of teams and the traditional dotting of the “eye of the dragon” and a most enjoyable awards dinner and farewell party for all participants.
2010 BIDBF Package and General Information
Accommodation Package
BIPA is coordinating with various resorts for accommodation packages for all teams participating in the 2009 races. Accommodation packages available upon request.
Team
24 members comprising 18 paddlers, 4 reserves, 1 drummer & 1 steerer. Team name list and 2 coloured 2”x2” photos of every member to be submitted via attached format (see attachment) on or before 31 March 2010.
Team Managers’ Meeting
A team managers’ meeting will be held on 30 April 2009 at 1500. Venue to be advised.

All teams are requested to bring along their flags for the parade of teams.
Supporters
Supporters are welcome and can also enjoy the same accommodation package.

Boat
a) Boat shall consist of a maximum of 20 men/women: 18 paddlers, 1 steersman, 1 drummer.
b) Mixed team shall consist of minimum number of 8 women paddlers in the 20 crew.
Racing Format
All teams will follow the races from the early heats, repechage / semi-finals and finals.

The Organizing Committee of the Manila Ocean Park in conjunction with the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation (PDBF) cordially invite Dragon Boat Teams to participate in the 2nd Manila Ocean Park Dragonboat Racing, which will be held on March 28, 2010 at the Manila Ocean Park, at the back of Quirino Grandstand, Manila.
COMPETITION REGULATIONS AND RACING RULES
The 2nd Manila Ocean Park Dragonboat Racing will be conducted under the PDBF Rules of Racing. All participating crews are required to email a completed Confirmation of Participation Form by no later than 4pm on 17th March 2010, Wednesday to: macristina.o@gmail.com
COMPETITION CLASSES AND DISTANCES
The Racing Classes that will be contested are listed below provided sufficient entries are received in each competition class. A minimum of 4 Entries from different Club Teams are required for the Open, Women and Mixed.

Open & Mixed (26 crews) – 20 paddlers, 1 drummer, 1 steersman, 4 reserves
Women (18 crews) – 14 paddlers, 1 drummer, 1 steersman, 2 reserves

Note: 12 male paddlers & 8 female paddlers for Mixed.
